OpenClaw is a powerful open source agent that does real work for you and comes installed ready to use with all Agents plans.
You'll need at least an A$30, or equivalent, subscription for Agents to get any real task done before running out of usage allowance. Running an Agent needs a small computer, an internet connection, and a model provider. Some technical knowledge does help. We provide the computer and technical help. You'll need the internet and model provider; think ChatGPT or SuperGrok subscription, though most model providers work well. The noteworthy exception is Anthropic's Claude subscriptions can't be connected without the company blocking your account. Their alleged reasons were that OpenClaw is so popular that it was taking away valuable cloud computer resources from other Claude users who just wanted to use native Claude apps.

Yes. Your Agents runs on a private cloud computer (also called a private host) with tools, files and devices you choose to give it access to. We've also built a private VPN installer that makes it simple to connect your cloud computer securely to your own computers. This unlocks a "next level" of tasks your Agent can help you with especially when paired with Advanced Workflow Skills that teach the Agents exactly how you need the work you are doing to be done so they get it right every time they do it.
You are not locked in to using any specific model provider. Bring your favourite, or the most powerful model subscription you can find, connect it with your agent. Then next month, when the tech landscape changes again, you can switch to a different one without losing any work, memories, workflows, or agent super powers. Never get stuck using last month's models. Using Agents makes it simple to keep up with AI technology and what it can do.
Use any of the big AI company models, ideally one you are already paying for. When you connect your model account after logging in to Arc Forge, we automatically set the default model to the latest most powerful one your provider offers. Caveat: we cannot recommend Anthropic Claude accounts at this time because they block users who try to connect to open source software like Arc Forge and OpenClaw.
